Neuromodulators are injectable treatments designed to relax facial muscles responsible for expression-related wrinkles. Over time, repeated muscle movement in areas such as the forehead, between the brows, and around the eyes can lead to dynamic wrinkles—lines that appear only with facial movement.

Neuromodulators such as Botox®, Dysport®, Daxxify®, and Jeuveau® temporarily weaken targeted muscles to soften these lines. With consistent treatment, neuromodulators not only smooth existing wrinkles but may also help prevent the development of deeper, static wrinkles that remain visible even when the face is at rest.

As wrinkles progress, static lines and volume loss may occur. While neuromodulators are ideal for dynamic wrinkles, deeper folds, hollowing, and skin descent are often best addressed with a customized combination of neuromodulators and dermal fillers.

• Small red bumps may appear at injection sites immediately after treatment and typically resolve quickly; makeup may be applied if needed.
• Avoid strenuous exercise, deep facial massage, and exfoliation for 24 hours post-treatment.
• Mild bruising is possible with any injection. To reduce the risk of bruising, avoid aspirin and blood-thinning supplements for 10 days prior to treatment when possible, apply ice, and consider Arnica to support healing.
