Meet Our Team
Dr. Melissa Hu is double board certified in Facial Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery. Her specialized training provides her an in depth understanding of facial anatomy, structure, and function. Dr. Hu’s expertise includes rhinoplasty – primary and revision, eye rejuvenation, facelifts, and skin cancer reconstructions of the face and neck. She believes in a comprehensive approach to facial rejuvenation targeting problem areas with procedures and encouraging maintenance with treatments and skin care products.
She has been awarded the resident research award by the highly esteemed Triologic Society as well as the fellowship research award by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery. She has authored and co-authored a number of articles on stem cell research and skin flaps. Dr. Hu is also co-author of a chapter in Ethnic Considerations in Facial Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Yoon is board certified in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery. She received her B.S. from Trinity University, her M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine, and completed her residency in a joint program with Columbia and Cornell. Her research efforts include studies on hearing loss, sinusitis, allergy, and pediatric head and neck masses. She has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, and her research has been presented at numerous conferences and meetings.
Her volunteer work in Honduras, specifically operating on cleft lip and palate patients, further deepened her interest in facial aesthetics. Since graduating from residency in 2009, she has been performing injection procedures, refining and evolving her technique throughout these years. Her specialized skills in head and surgery as well as her training in facial aesthetics allows her to analyze a patient’s anatomy and discuss treatment goals to achieve the most desired result.
Alexis Roca is a licensed esthetician who recently completed certification at San Jacinto Community College. Raised in the environment of aesthetics, Alexis comes to Clear Lake Medical Spa with years of experience working in the aesthetics industry. Alexis is high achieving and talented as she placed first at the SkillsUSA State Competition for Esthetics in Texas.
Alexis’ passion for skincare developed through her own personal struggles with acne growing up. She strives to make people feel content and confident in their own skin. With her unique experiences, personality, and training, Alexis is open and willing to help you on your skincare journey.
Mia is a Certified Physician Assistant who is new to Texas. She is originally from Kissimmee, Florida and graduated with her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida.
In August 2021, she relocated to Houston, Texas and joined Clear Lake Medical Center ENT. While practicing, she has completed extensive training with Dr. Yoon and Dr. Hu in many non-surgical cosmetic procedures. She is now excited to utilize her aesthetic treatment skills to help clients achieve their skin goals at Clear Lake MedSpa. In her spare time, Mia enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her loved ones.
Urenia Garcia brings her years of experience in retail, management, and the medical field to Clear Lake Medical Spa. Humble but not shy to speak of her varied background, Urenia is a wonderfully talented multi-tasker, perpetual optimist, and a great resource for aesthetic treatments.
Sandra Barrera is the Manager for Clear Lake Medical Spa. Sandra has 14 years’ experience of medical management with a track record of strong performance in high-volume, high-pressure environments. Sandra skillfully manages administrative duties, client relations and ensures the smooth operations of the Medical Spa. Delivering outstanding client experience has always been an essential part of her role.
