Meet Our Team
Dr. Melissa Hu is double board certified in Facial Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery. Her specialized training provides her an in depth understanding of facial anatomy, structure, and function. Dr. Hu’s expertise includes rhinoplasty – primary and revision, eye rejuvenation, facelifts, and skin cancer reconstructions of the face and neck. She believes in a comprehensive approach to facial rejuvenation targeting problem areas with procedures and encouraging maintenance with treatments and skin care products.
She has been awarded the resident research award by the highly esteemed Triologic Society as well as the fellowship research award by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery. She has authored and co-authored a number of articles on stem cell research and skin flaps. Dr. Hu is also co-author of a chapter in Ethnic Considerations in Facial Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Yoon is board certified in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery. She received her B.S. from Trinity University, her M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine, and completed her residency in a joint program with Columbia and Cornell. Her research efforts include studies on hearing loss, sinusitis, allergy, and pediatric head and neck masses. She has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, and her research has been presented at numerous conferences and meetings.
Her volunteer work in Honduras, specifically operating on cleft lip and palate patients, further deepened her interest in facial aesthetics. Since graduating from residency in 2009, she has been performing injection procedures, refining and evolving her technique throughout these years. Her specialized skills in head and surgery as well as her training in facial aesthetics allows her to analyze a patient’s anatomy and discuss treatment goals to achieve the most desired result.
Meet Maria, our Licensed Aesthetician, whose passion for skincare is rooted in both personal experience and advanced professional training. After navigating her own skincare struggles, Maria was inspired to become the aesthetician she once searched for. Someone who listens, understands, and delivers real results.
With a strong background in a variety of advanced modalities including customized chemical peels, microneedling, corrective treatments, and results-driven skincare protocols, Maria approaches each client with intention and precision. She believes luxury skincare goes beyond relaxation—it’s about education, transformation, and treatments tailored specifically to your skin’s unique needs.

Megan, our Nurse Injector, her journey from pediatric emergency nursing to aesthetics and wellness has shaped her deep commitment to patient-centered care. With a strong ER background, she brings an elevated level of safety, clinical expertise, and attentiveness to every treatment she performs.

Urenia Garcia, our Cosmetic Care Coordinator, brings a strong and diverse background to Clear Lake Medical Spa, with years of experience in retail, management, and the medical field. She has served as a Medical Assistant for several years and is also a certified EMT, giving her a well-rounded clinical foundation and a deep understanding of patient care and safety.
Known for her positive attitude and strong work ethic, Urenia is always a helping hand to both clients and team members. While humble in nature, she confidently shares her knowledge and experience, making her a trusted resource for aesthetic treatments and patient education. Her ability to multitask, stay organized, and create a welcoming environment ensures every client feels comfortable, supported, and well-informed throughout their visit.
Sandra Barrera, our Manager, brings over 14 years of experience in medical management. She has an extensive background working in high-volume, fast-paced, and high-pressure healthcare environments, where she has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, organization, and operational excellence.
In her role, Sandra oversees day-to-day operations, administrative management, and client relations, ensuring the medical spa functions smoothly and efficiently. She works closely with the clinical and aesthetic teams to maintain high standards of care, compliance, and service.
